高考英语复习中几个值得注意的句式和搭配固定句式是高考英语的选考考点。通过对历届高考试题的研究我们发现：高考对中学英语中一些常用的固定句式经常考查。比如：1. would rather：意为“宁愿”, 其后接动词原形; 若后接有 than 表示比较, than 之后也要用动词原形; 其后若接从句, 从句谓语用虚拟语气（指现在或将 来用过去时, 指过去用过去完成时）。2. rather than：意为“而不”、“不是…而是…”, 前后连接的成分应该是平行 的（注意：若是连接不定式, rather than 之后的不定式可以带 to 或不带 to, 也可用动名词)。另外, rather than 有时可用于句首, 此时其后的动词通常用 原形。3. prefer...to / rather than...：意为“宁愿…而不愿…”, 连接两个名词或动名 词时, 用to; 连接两个不定式时(后一个不定式通常不带 to), 用 rather than。4. not...until...：意为“直到…才…”, 对于该句式要特别注意以下两个结构 （高考命题热点）：强调结构：It is/was＋被强调部分＋that＋其它倒装结构：Not until...＋倒装结构5. so...that. . /such...that...：意为“如此…以致于…”, 其结构为：so + adj. / adv. + that...so + adj. + a / an + n. + that...such + a / an + adj. + n. + that...6.
