My dad works at an automotive plant
我爸爸在一家汽车制造厂上班
and while working he noticed the lights flicker
有天他在干活的时候，发现警示灯不停闪烁
and heard a noise indicative of electrocution .
还听到一阵轰鸣，应该是电击的声音
He ran to the area
他跑到声音传来的地方
and saw three men standing outside of a machine in shock.
发现三个工人站在机器外面，神情惊恐
When he asked if everyone was okay

they said no
他们说不，
and that someone was dead.

My dad asked if someone was in the machine still
接着我爸爸又问，机器里现在还有人在吗
and when they answered yes

he ran inside,
我爸爸冲到机器里
felt for a pulse(there was none),
找到那个人，检查他的脉搏，发现他已经没有脉搏了
pulled him out of the machine
然后他把他拉了出来
and brought him to the ground floor.

My father had radioed his coworker
父亲通过无线电广播联系了他的同事
who was a volunteer paramedic at the plant already
